Best of Bellevue 2019 1

Bellevue has had another momentous year, and Bellevue Lifestyle is so grateful to be a part of it! As 2019 comes to an end, it felt fitting to have an issue highlighting the very BEST of our city. As Bellevue continues to grow, more outsider curiosity will grow, and because of that, I consider this “Best of Bellevue” list not only Bellevue’s go-to list, but also the entire Northwest’s and maybe even beyond. Voting was open to the public, and the thousands of votes that came in are 100% from our readers and community.  If you think a category or business was missed, send us your feedback. There’s always next year!

And of course, we can’t have a holiday issue without seasonal fashion and gift ideas. Our newest contributor, Annie Abbott, founder of Anne Townsend, shares how to indulge in our holiday season style with a gorgeous curated style guide on Page XX. We also share some holiday go-to gift ideas.  Don’t miss Page XX with a special section for “hosting gifts” for all those holiday parties.

Also a big thank you to our cover artist, Kait Schoeb. I originally met Kate live painting at a fundraiser last spring and immediately was drawn to her work. I asked her to paint an image for this issue, and she nailed it. If you’re interested in seeing more of her work, visit

I’m sure we all can agree time has flown by this year, and so this December, we hope you take the time to slow down a little bit and savor what’s most important. Enjoy your time with family and friends, give back to those in need, reflect on past memories and keep the new ones you create in the present for as long as you can.

We’ll take your lead, and we can’t wait to see you next year!
