Travis Groome, Broker/Founding Partner of The ONE Real Estate Group
a creative space
When fashion is your art, a closet is your studio—a creative space to have room to organize your colors, brands, accessories; a place to lay things out, mix and match, and create your statement for the day. When Travis Groome moved into his Clyde Hill home two years ago, the 1,100-square-foot (and growing) closet was a selling point.
Travis, now a luxury realtor, was a former director of stores for Macy’s for 14 years. Fashion and trends are part of who Travis is. His style is simple and classic, yet crafted and playful in the details. Keeping his clothing—and shoes—organized is key, and a functional, spacious closet keeps the stress out. His custom closet comes with a variety of stellar ways to organize. From built-in “folding” tables, a variety of drawer sizes, pull-out hooks that allow for easy packing and more.
A whole portion of the closet is dedicated to ties, which were part of Travis’s everyday uniform when he worked in the fashion industry. His collection is full of patterns and color and is meticulously clean and organized.
A self-proclaimed “bags and shoes guy,” Travis’s shoe collection is his favorite. And it’s easy to see why. With just around 600 pairs, and with brands like Jimmy Choo, Prada and Gucci in the mix, there is a shoe for every occasion and then some.
