The SMART Girls Luncheon hosted by the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club and Nintendo took place at Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi on Sept. 21. Light bites and wine were enjoyed to support the SMART Girl program, a program for young female academic success, leadership and healthy lifestyles.
This August, attendees enjoyed a fun evening at the annual Celebrity Steak-Out presented by Brotherton Cadillac Buick GMC and Fred Hutch. Local and national celebrities enjoyed a silent and live auction, a cocktail hour and dinner prepared by John Howie Restaurants. The evening's proceeds of $287,000 will support Fred Hutch develop new screening options to detect asymptomatic ovarian cancer.
The Auction of Washington Wines celebrated its 31st annual charitable wine events at Chateau Ste. Michelle winery this August and raised nearly $4.1 million. Proceeds from the events benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital and Washington State University’s Viticulture & Enology Program. The Gala culminated the weekend of events and featured live and silent auction lots. The event was well attended by prominent local philanthropists and business owners.
