Bellevue Farmers Market Opening Day May 16

The Bellevue Farmers Market operates a seasonal Thursday farmers market, held every week rain or shine in the parking lot of Bellevue Presbyterian Church from 3–7 p.m., May 16 until Oct. 10. Each market day is composed of its own unique mix of vendors offering seasonal fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, fresh meats, one-of-a-kind artisan goods and tasty cuisine. All BFM vendors grow and make the products they sell, and they are proud to say everything sold the market comes from within the great state of Washington.

Grand Opening: Meydenbaur Bay Park

Breaking ground in 2017, the long-awaited Meydenbaur Bay Park opened to the public on March 16. The 10-acre park is now home to a 400-foot pedestrian water-walk; plenty of seating; a swimming beach; and access to boat loading, canoes, kayaks and paddle boards that can be launched at the beach. 

Spectra Laser Open House at Suh Esthetics

At the Spectra Laser Open House at Suh Esthetics, owner and practitioner Dr. Suh did Hollywood laser peel demonstrations on guests. The Spectra Laser is often used on celebrities before events to eliminate age spots, keep skin radiant and tighten pores. Wine was provided by Icon Cellars, and food was prepared by Chef Dane.


Scout & Molly’s Hosts Spring Preview Party in Issaquah Highlands

The 2019 King-Snohomish County Regional Spelling Bee at the Meydenbauer

The Meydenbauer Theatre recently hosted 90 middle-schoolers for the regional spelling bee. Schools across King and Snohomish counties were moderated by Seattle Radio Theatre founder and KIRO Radio’s producer, host and historian Feliks Banel. The winner, Nidhi Achanta from Maywood Middle School, advanced to the annual Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
