Bellevue Lifespring Provides Clothing, Food and Scholarships to the City’s Underprivileged

Bellevue Lifespring is a nonprofit organization that provides support to children and families fighting poverty in the Bellevue school district. More than 3,600 children are fighting poverty in the affluent Bellevue area. This is something that the executive director of Bellevue Lifespring, Jennifer Fischer, wants the community to know.

What is Bellevue Lifespring’s mission?

Bellevue Lifespring’s mission is to support children and families in the Bellevue community by fostering stability and self-sufficiency through programs that feed, clothe and educate.

What is your favorite part of being involved with Bellevue Lifespring?

Hands down the best part of my job at Bellevue Lifespring is when I receive emails and letters of success stories from the children and families I have worked with. I love to see a child or family come in, utilize all of the resources we offer at Bellevue Lifespring and really turn their lives around—it truly warms my heart!

Tell us about Uncork the Night.

Uncork the Night is Bellevue Lifespring’s largest fundraising event of the year. This fundraiser invites guests to taste a variety of local and rare global wines while spreading the love at the live and silent auctions. The entire evening centers around the spirit of giving and takes place on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue. Make sure to reserve your tickets now at BellevueLifespring.org.
